If you are noticing that they like to bite hard or gnaw on things constantly, you can check their gums to see any crowning teeth. These would appear to be thin white lines under the surface of the gums. It will eventually erupt and be fully-grown.
Some do not exhibit much signs of a baby teething. However, there are infants who experience getting some mild fever a few days before their teeth erupts. This is normal and is no reason to panic. Red and swollen gums are also a common sign. This is often accompanied by a child’s irritability and discomfort while eating or feeding. For you to help your child during these times, having a cold teeter ready will be beneficial to them. This will help soothe your child’s swollen gums and make them feel more comfortable.
